Auctions start at a given time and last for a maximum period of 60 minutes. The timer for each auction is set to 1 minute 15 seconds. When a bid is placed, the price of the auction item is increased by 1 penny and the auction counter is reset (e.g. back to 1 minute 15 seconds) to give others the chance of bidding. There are 3 ways in which an auction can be won, please see below for further details.
